Über die Rolle

Als Leiter/in der Multi-Cloud Managed Services bei CloudAstro sind Sie verantwortlich für die Führung eines Teams von Cloud-Experten, die Verwaltung der End-to-End-Bereitstellung von Multi-Cloud Managed Services sowie die Förderung operativer Exzellenz. Diese Rolle umfasst die Überwachung von Design, Implementierung und Support multi-cloud-basierter Lösungen über verschiedene Cloud-Plattformen hinweg, um eine hohe Verfügbarkeit, Skalierbarkeit und Sicherheit für unsere Kunden sicherzustellen. Der/die Leiter/in der Multi-Cloud Managed Services arbeitet eng mit technischen, operativen und geschäftlichen Teams zusammen, um die Services an kundenspezifische Multi-Cloud-Strategien sowie an die Ziele der Organisation auszurichten.

Kernaufgaben:

Strategische Führung: Definition und Umsetzung der Vision für Multi-Cloud-Services, stets am Puls der Trends und mit Fokus auf Kundenbedürfnisse.
Service-Delivery: Sicherstellung einer zuverlässigen Bereitstellung über Public, Private und Hybrid Clouds, Einhaltung von SLAs und kontinuierliche Serviceverbesserung.
Teamführung: Führung, Mentoring und Weiterentwicklung eines Teams von Cloud Engineers, Förderung von Expertise, Zusammenarbeit und Innovation.
Prozesse & Automatisierung: Optimierung der Abläufe, Förderung von Automatisierung und Steigerung der Effizienz in Multi-Cloud-Workflows.
Kundenkontakt: Hauptansprechpartner für Key Accounts, Sicherstellung der Abstimmung der Services auf kundenspezifische Multi-Cloud-Strategien.
Compliance & Sicherheit: Einhaltung regulatorischer Anforderungen und sichere Multi-Cloud-Umgebungen in Zusammenarbeit mit Security-Teams.
Finanzmanagement: Budgetverantwortung, Kostenkontrolle und Identifikation von Wachstums- und Optimierungspotenzialen.
Leistungskennzahlen: Monitoring von KPIs, Reporting und kontinuierliche Verbesserung von Servicequalität und Teamleistung.

Deine Aufgaben

Entwicklung und Umsetzung der strategischen Vision für Multi-Cloud Managed Services im Einklang mit Geschäfts- und Technologiezielen
Gesamtverantwortung für die End-to-End-Bereitstellung von Multi-Cloud Managed Services über unterschiedliche Cloud-Plattformen hinweg unter Sicherstellung von SLA-Einhaltung, Servicequalität und kontinuierlicher Verbesserung
Führung, Coaching und Weiterentwicklung von Cloud-Engineering- und Support-Teams mit Fokus auf Multi-Cloud-Kompetenzen, technischer Exzellenz und operativer Verantwortung
Etablierung und Optimierung von Betriebsprozessen (Incident-, Problem-, Change- und Kapazitätsmanagement) in Multi-Cloud-Umgebungen mit starkem Fokus auf Automatisierung und Skalierbarkeit
Zentrale Ansprechperson für Eskalationen sowie strategischer Sparringspartner für Schlüsselkunden in individuellen Multi-Cloud-Szenarien
Verantwortung für Sicherheit, Compliance, Budgetsteuerung sowie KPI-basiertes Reporting zur Sicherstellung nachhaltiger und hochwertiger Multi-Cloud Managed Services

Dein Profil

Bachelor-Abschluss in Informatik, Informationstechnologie oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet (Master-Abschluss bevorzugt).
Umfassende Erfahrung in Cloud-Technologien, einschließlich Führungspositionen im Bereich Managed Services.
Cloud-Kenntnisse: Microsoft Azure, Open Telekom Cloud (OTC), OpenStack-Technologie, AWS oder Google Cloud sowie Betrieb von Cloud-Umgebungen im großen Maßstab (Large-Scale Operations).
Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Verwaltung groß angelegter Cloud-Operationen, Servicebereitstellung und Support.
Starke Führungs- und Personalmanagementfähigkeiten sowie Erfahrung im Aufbau und der Betreuung leistungsstarker Teams.
Hervorragende Fähigkeiten in Problemlösung und Entscheidungsfindung, mit der Fähigkeit, komplexe Projekte und Eskalationen zu managen.
Kenntnisse von Compliance-Standards wie GDPR, ISO 27001 und SOC 2.
Finanzkompetenz mit Erfahrung in Budgetplanung und Kostenmanagement für Cloud-Services.
Zertifizierungen in Cloud-Technologien (z. B. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) sind ein großer Vorteil.
Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch (C1, verhandlungssicher); Englisch (B2–C1, fließend bis verhandlungssicher).

About the Role

As Head of Multi-Cloud Managed Services at CloudAstro, you are responsible for leading a team of cloud experts, managing the end-to-end delivery of Multi-Cloud Managed Services, and driving operational excellence. This role includes overseeing the design, implementation, and support of multi-cloud-based solutions across multiple cloud platforms to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our customers. The Head of Multi-Cloud Managed Services works closely with technical, operational, and business teams to align services with customer-specific multi-cloud strategies and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision for multi-cloud services, staying ahead of trends and ensuring customer-focused offerings.
Service Delivery: Ensure reliable delivery across public, private, and hybrid clouds, meeting SLAs and driving continual service improvement.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cloud engineers, fostering expertise, collaboration, and innovation.
Process & Automation: Optimize operations, drive automation, and enhance efficiency across multi-cloud workflows.
Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for key customers, aligning services with their multi-cloud strategies.
Compliance & Security: Maintain regulatory compliance and secure multi-cloud environments in collaboration with security teams.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, report progress, and continuously improve service quality and team performance.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and execute the strategic vision for Multi-Cloud Managed Services in alignment with business and technology objectives
Assume overall responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of Multi-Cloud Managed Services across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring SLA compliance, service quality, and continuous improvement
Lead, coach, and develop cloud engineering and support teams with a strong focus on multi-cloud capabilities, technical excellence, and operational accountability
Establish and continuously optimize operational processes (incident, problem, change, and capacity management) within multi-cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on automation and scalability
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and act as a strategic sparring partner for key customers in customized multi-cloud scenarios
Take responsibility for security, compliance, budget management, and KPI-based reporting to ensure sustainable, high-quality Multi-Cloud Managed Services

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Extensive experience with cloud technologies, including leadership roles in Managed Services.
Cloud expertise: Microsoft Azure, Open Telekom Cloud (OTC), OpenStack technology, AWS, or Google Cloud, as well as operating cloud environments at scale (large-scale operations).
Proven experience in managing large-scale cloud operations, service delivery, and support.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capability to manage complex projects and escalations.
Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning and cost management for cloud services.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) are a strong advantage.
Language skills: German (C1, negotiation-level proficiency); English (B2–C1, fluent to negotiation-level proficiency).
